ABOUT THE 100 CLUB
The A&S Village Hall 100 Club has been set up with the aim to raise funds for a vital new heating system for our village hall.
We are looking for a specialist solution to make our Village hall more economical and environmentally friendly during the colder months. The 100 Club is an initiative to help us raise funds for a modern heating system.
HOW IT WORKS
- Join the club for £60 for the year by emailing alcistonselmeston100@gmail.com
- This buys you one membership number (allocated by us) which enters you into the monthly cash prize draw for 12 months.
- The draw for first, second and third prizes will take place on the second Monday of every month at the Village HUB
- The total prize fund each month is £130.
- The remaining goes to Alciston & Selmeston Village Hall to help us to design and install a new heating system in the hall.
- We will contact you if you are one of the lucky winners that month, and we will send you your winnings by bank transfer.
- The winners' names will also be published on our village whatsapp group.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much is the A&S 100 Club?
One membership is £60 per 12 month period, payable as a lump sum or in two installments of £30. It works out as £5 per month or £1.25 a week.
You can buy more than one membership.
How can I make payment?
Preferably by bank transfer, we will send you details when you join,
You can choose to pay by cash or cheque, please tell us when you join that you would like to pay in this way.
When do the draws take place?
The draw for first, second and third prizes will take place at the Village HUB (usually on the third Monday of each month) and be announced on the village WhatsApp group, website and village news. These will be named unless you wish to remain anonymous.
What happens if I win?
If you win, we will pay your winnings into your bank account. Your name will also be published on our website and social media unless you tell us you wish to remain anonymous.
What are the prizes?
The prize money will be £130 per month.
For example, if all 100 numbers are sold, the prizes will be:
1st prize = £75
2nd prize = £40
3rd prize = £15
The remaining goes to the Alciston & Selmeston VIllage Hall fund for a new heating system for the hall.
